Emergency Preparedness in Ambulatory Care: Nurses Leading the Way

This session will address risk mitigation strategies used to prepare for an emergency in ambulatory care settings. Lessons learned in real-life emergency responses throughout the US will inform participants about the nurses' positive impact during emergency preparedness and management.
Expansion of Telehealth Nursing to Meet Coronavirus Pandemic Needs

This session will address the expansion of telehealth nursing to meet needs during COVID-19. Topics of discussion will include the use of remote monitoring of patients, chatbots for online chat conversations, virtual visits, pandemic crisis lines, and personalized care strategies for patients, as well as an exploration of how to drive efficiencies in telephone triage.
